Periscope Upgrades:

Upgrading of periscopes involves a total redesign of the optical channel and typically covers the following:

• Improvement of existing optical characteristics, particularly field curvature and chromatic aberration and transmittance.
• Integration of a passive rangefinder into the periscope.
• Television capability consisting of Day TV and Night TV.
• Recording of the TV images by means of a digital video recorder.
• Attachment of a still camera to the periscope.
