State-of-the-art electrical drive technology is used for the gun drives. The gun drive sub-system comprises of elevation motor-gearbox assembly, azimuth motor-gearbox assembly, elevation sensor gearbox, azimuth sensor gearbox assembly, power transformer and gun drive electronics unit.
The GA35 Cannon has been optimized for simplicity and reliability, to have only 200 components. It can be dismantled without the use of any special tools. Intrinsically safe, user friendly and remote controllable, this unique weapon boasts considerable accuracy and a sustained high rate of fire.

The Umkhonto-IR missile is a vertically-launched, high-velocity, infrared homing missile specifically designed for providing all-round defence against simultaneous air attacks from multiple combat aircraft (fixed-wing or
helicopter) and missiles. The missile and associated subsystems are supplied as a missile group for easy integration into naval combat suites or ground-based air defence systems.
